An icon of the house. Its refined silhouette, practical size, and soft creamy hue make the Tribune the perfect everyday companion. Each bag reflects the full expertise of ALTO — a committed leather artisan dedicated to quality, traceability, and lasting craftsmanship.
Chosen in a soft vanilla, understated and effortlessly chic — a quiet object, made to last a lifetime.
A hide chosen one at a time, from a tannery in the Tarn.
Our leathers are vegetable-tanned over six weeks in south-west France — a process that uses twelve times less water than conventional chrome tanning, and leaves a patina that only deepens with use.
Each full-grain hide is inspected by hand; only the top 20% make it to the workshop floor. What doesn't is returned, never discarded.

Twelve artisans. One bag at a time.
Each bag is assembled start to finish by a single artisan in our Parisian workshop — from the first cut to the burnishing of the final edge. A small number stamped inside tells you who.
Saddle stitching — done by hand, with two needles and a single waxed linen thread — is stronger than any machine stitch.
We repair what we make. Always.
Re-stitching, re-lining, edge re-dyeing, hardware replacement. A bag returned to the workshop in its 20th year is as welcome as one a season old. It is how we define the word quality.
